Upgrade your Counter Space

Happy Tip Tuesday!

Every year after when I take my Christmas Decorations down, I feel like my house is a little empty and I start adding little touches to make it feel full again. This year, I started with adding a few new trays around the house to enhance our counter tops. This is an easy and pretty inexpensive way to make a coffee table, kitchen table, counter top, etc. look more polished. I already had a few decorated trays around the house, but just added a couple more in our kitchen. When styling my new trays, I tried to make sure they were functional as well as pretty. I made the first one into a little coffee space. I started with our Keurig and then added a couple containers that I already had and put our k-cups in one and our collagen(a new supplement we are trying that we mix into our coffee) in the other. I had a little extra room so I added some cute salt and pepper shakers and my butter crock to finish. The second, I put in our “catch all” area to hopefully detour my family from putting their clutter there. I added a few cutting boards, a candle, hand sanitizer and a little faux succulent( to add some color) on that one. Both spaces look nice, but still hold vital things we need and use in our kitchen.

I found all of these at T.J.Maxx Homegoods(my fav).
