Kitchen Details
I love a good presentation and I believe that the small details make all of the difference when decorating a house. A good detail can cozy up a room, let your personal style shine through or simply finish a space making it feel complete. I have heard from many interior designers (and I completely agree) that a design starts with good bones like lighting, rugs, furniture, and cabinetry but a house becomes a home through the layers of details.
I shared some pictures of our recent kitchen renovation last week and several of you asked me about our kitchen soap dish. I mean, we ripped out and replaced our entire kitchen island countertops and backsplash but the tiny soap dish got so much attention (see what I mean about the little details).
I have actually had this for a while but I think with our new light and bright kitchen it stands out even more. I simply took a small inexpensive cake stand that I found at Homegoods and paired it with these super cute labeled soap bottles I found on Amazon. It adds some height variation and a little something extra to finish the space around our new beautiful farm sink.
